God created us and gives us life to live happily and hospitals help us to lead the humanity to live healthly and fulfill the needs of man with good will. And it should not be only a task but service, for this purpose we have hospitals.

I am Sr.Valeria like to dedicate my service in search of those in need ,seeing God in every human being as an administrator in our hospitals.

where hundreds of sick people are getting healed and returning home happy. We started in the year 1973 in our own building at Moondrumavadi , Madurai a small ambulatory only for out patients especially for children with the name of St. Mary’s Pediatric Hospital. In 1975 our Mother Fuondress sent Mother Noemi Carbone as a missionary from Italy to our community in Madurai and from then our mission had started to flourish. In 1981 our Hospital gave birth to a maternity ward. In 1984 the name of the hospital was changed to St. Mary of Leuca Hospital and in 1985 the hospital was extended. In the year 1987 x-ray, lab, and Operation theater were established followed by scan and endoscopy. In Laboratory services we have all these facilities: All type of Pathological tests, By qualified Bio – Chemistry tests, All type of Microbiology tests, Culture & Sensitivity, AFB culture, Thyroid profile – Fertility profile, By qualified Microbiologist. Our lab is certified as “Quality Control” by CMC Vellore. Radiology services X-ray Endoscopy, Ultra Sonogram, Doppler, Echo, Electro Cardiography (ECG), Traction, Ultrasound, Nebulization and Tens.

Our hospital serves most vulnerable and marginalized not with much publicity but gives health care especially people less likely to have access to quality health care service. Until now our hospital has brought to light important health, maternal and child care . I look back proudly to say our hospital has grown with 45 beds and updated its medical facilities. We have not gone for advertisement but through the good hearts who were healed by our health services are our messengers to bring many more to the hospital to get healed. All our employees are also focused and very concerned about all those who are sick and suffering to access quality health services from us depending on their needs and values within their reach. All want to be well and healthy. We with our Doctors, staff and helpers would like to serve the people physically, mentally and spiritually to ensure a safer and healthier tomorrow to transcend from darkness to light and to come closer to the Great healer Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
